Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how UI Human Factors Ltd (“ we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and shares personal information in connection with your use of the Company’s websites and digital services.

1. Which properties does the policy apply to?

The policy applies to the company’s websites/services under the UI Human Factors and ProductX brands, including (as applicable):

  • Brand Hub website / company website co.il
  • ProductX org conference website
  • Conference registration/ticket purchase system (as long as it is technically separate) https://register.b2ecloud.com/
  • The conference VOD website (with username/password)
  • Website/brand offshore: biz

If a particular page displays a short/dedicated privacy notice (e.g. on a registration form), it will apply in addition to this policy and will prevail in specific matters.

3. What information do we collect?

We may collect (depending on the type of service):

A. Information you provided to us

  • Contact information: name, email, phone.
  • Inquiry/request content, including requests for UX/UI services.
  • When registering for the conference: participant details, ticket type, details for invoice/receipt purposes, and operational preferences (e.g. accessibility/food) if you indicate on the form.

B. Purchase/Payment Information

If tickets/services are purchased online, payment is usually processed by an external payment provider.

Clearing/Registration Provider Name: Tranzilla

In such a case, we usually receive payment confirmations/transaction status/invoice details – and do not store full card details with us (as long as the provider works with the hosted payment method).

C. Automatically collected information

  • Technical usage data: IP address, browser/device type, pages viewed, times/clicks, error data.
  • Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 8).
  • Google Analytics (and/or similar tools) : Statistical information about website usage (without direct identification on our part, depending on how it is actually set up).

D. VOD Account Information

In VOD (closed to registered users): user ID/email, password (managed as a hash by the provider/server), authorization status, and viewing/access data (e.g. what content was viewed and how often) – for the purpose of operating the service, security, and improvement.

4. Why we use information (purposes)

We use information to:

  1. Provide services and respond to inquiries.
  2. Manage registration, ticketing and conference/event operations (approvals, operational updates, customer service).
  3. Provide access to VOD and manage user permissions.
  4. Measure and improve websites and content using analytics (Google Analytics and similar tools).
  5. Protect information security, prevent fraud, and maintain logs. Information security regulations in Israel address organizational/technical requirements according to the level of the database (Government of Israel ).
  6. Meet legal requirements (accounting/taxes/handling private inquiries).

The principle of “duty to inform” (transparency when collecting information) is emphasized by the Privacy Protection Authority and is considered the basis for informed consent (Government of Israel ).

5. Do we have to provide information?

Not always. Providing information is usually voluntary, but without certain information we will not be able to provide certain services (for example: without an email we will not be able to confirm registration/open a VOD account/return with a response).

6. Sharing information with third parties

We do not sell personal information.

We may share information with:

  • Service providers who help us operate the sites/conference/VOD: storage, operational mailing, registration system, billing, technical support, security, analytics (Google Analytics and similar tools).
  • Competent authorities if required by law/order.

Sponsors/Conference Partners: As you said – we do not share participant information with sponsors (unless we have requested and you have expressly approved).

7. Transferring information outside of Israel

Some of the infrastructure/cloud providers or analytics tools may process information outside of Israel. In such cases, we will take reasonable steps to protect and coordinate obligations with the providers, in accordance with the law and the relevant requirements for transfers abroad (Lexology ).

8. Cookies and Google Analytics

We use cookies for basic operational, security, and statistical measurement purposes.

You can also choose “Measurement only” versus “Essential only” in the Cookies Preferences banner.

9. Marketing mailing

Marketing communications will only be sent with prior consent, and each message will have a simple opt-out option. This principle is consistent with Israeli law regarding “advertising” in electronic messages (Government of Israel ).

Operational messages (registration confirmation/schedule change/login information) are not necessarily marketing.

10. Information security

We implement reasonable security measures (permissions, infrastructure protections, logs, backups, etc.), as necessary. The Privacy Protection (Information Security) Regulations define a framework of requirements for databases ( Government of Israel ).

However, it is not possible to guarantee absolute security.

11. Saving information

We will retain information as long as it is required for the purposes for which it was collected: providing the service, managing the conference/VOD, complying with legal requirements (e.g. accounting documents), and legal defense.

12. Your rights and how to exercise them

You can contact us to request access to the information held about you and to correct information that is incorrect/inaccurate, in accordance with the law ( Government of Israel ).

13. Children's privacy

The Sites and Services are not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

14. Policy changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on the website with the date of the update.

15. Appendix A - Product X Conference (Registration, Events)

In addition to the above:

  • We may process operational information: arrival/check-in status, ticket type, logistics, customer service.
  • Photography/Video at the Event: The conference will be filmed in both video and stills. Participants may appear in photographs that will be published later, as part of the documentation of the event.

 

16. Appendix B - ProductX VOD Website

  • The VOD service is available to authorized users only (user/code).
  • We will collect login and usage data for the purpose of providing the service, security, and improving the viewing experience.

17. Appendix C - The productx.biz brand

If you are a visitor or user of our services from the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, we comply with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We collect, process and store your personal information only if we have a legal basis for doing so, such as your consent or for the performance of a contract. You have additional rights under the GDPR, including the right to access, rectify, erase, object to processing and request data portability of the personal information we hold about you.
