AI Powered Design Sprint

AI Powered Design Sprint
From Problem to Prototype -
at AI Speed

What is a Design Sprint?

A Design Sprint is a rapid process for creating and testing new solutions to big challenges. By engaging all stakeholders, using a structured process, and leveraging AI tools for execution and testing, we can reduce months of work to just a few days.

The main advantages:

speed

A process that once took weeks and months is completed in days. And now, in the age of AI, it’s even faster and more qualitative.

Innovation

The method and the variety of participants (including AI) give rise to new and groundbreaking ideas that would not have arisen using any other method.

Focus

The structure and voting method lead to a precise definition of the goal, the metrics and key success factors, and the risks.

Validation

The variety of participants (including AI) and usability tests examine the solution from many angles.

Aligning Vision, Strategy, and Roadmap

Beyond the prototype, product people gain insights into the vision, strategic principles, and roadmap features.

Shared Commitment

Participants – including Development, Marketing, and Customer Success – align around the vision and leave with shared ownership of the next steps.

The Design Sprint, developed by Jake Knapp at Google Ventures, was created to bring innovation to startups and help them reach Product-Market Fit faster.

The method also works very well in large organizations that are developing a new product, module, or major feature, or when they want to define the next generation of an existing product.

The method can also be used to solve a focused product problem.

Who is this for?

At the end of the sprint, we deliver a validated UX prototype, a workshop summary, and clear documentation of the main goals, risks, user insights, and solution decisions.

The Product Manager also receives a prioritized feature list for the Backlog and initial Roadmap planning.

Deliverables

Over the past two years, we have integrated GenAI tools into every step of the process (except Crazy 8).

We use AI to move faster, make better-informed product decisions, and improve the quality of the final product.

  • The AI does a lot of “dirty work” in analyzing and summarizing user interviews – for example, merging overlapping notes, categorizing them, ensuring accuracy in wording, etc.
  • The AI serves as a Co-Pilot that helps each participant formulate themselves better, thus raising the level and depth of the discussion.
  • With vibe prototyping, even people who don’t know how to draw can create high-level prototypes and better illustrate their ideas. Engagement has increased, and solutions have moved to the next level.

Our Process

A Success Story

A Success Story

The first Design Sprint at Ituran focused on shaping the next generation of an internal system for the theft recovery center. The process was highly successful and created strong internal momentum, leading the organization to run a similar sprint for the vehicle fleet management system.

The challenge:
Designing an interface that supports a wide range of user types — from operations managers at transportation companies, to dispatchers at bus companies, safety officers, and contractors managing teams across multiple construction sites.

The unexpected outcome:
The CEO of Ituran Technologies decided to place AI at the heart of the upcoming version, helping users create customized reports more easily and independently.

This week we completed an extraordinary Design Sprint workshop (a busy two days), hosted by UI Company. A workshop that brings to light a joint brainstorming of the business people, our excellent developers, and us, the product managers. Thank you to all those who took part in this exciting effort and opening shot.
